An Open Tourer Beauford has a fixed roof with open sides without fitted window panel, as opposed to a Convertible Version which has a fully retractable hood, and side windpws which can be removed or lowered. A Fully Convertible Beauford has a mechanical roof, usually manually operated, and could take your chauffeur approximately 10 minutes to retract and stow away. In most cases your Chauffeur will arrive at your collection point with the roof up (closed) so that your trip to the ceremony ensures you arrive as perfect as the time you left your collection point. Most couples like to depart the ceremony with the roof fully down for photo opportunities and for friends and family to see the happy couple depart. Simply advise your driver before you enter the venue if you wish the car to be converted to fully convertible for the onward trip to the wedding reception.
Most Beaufords will seat up to 3 passengers (2 in the rear and 1 next to the chauffeur). Some have had the front passenger seat removed to provide more legroom nd space for the Bride and her wedding gown.
