The era of the swinging sixties produced some iconic vehicles and none more so than the Volkswagen Campervan. The sixties was an era when the Beatles were number one in the charts and Carnaby Street in London was the place to be seen, and although built in Germany this bay window camper is UK based and has a very British themed multi colour interior with Union Jack seats and curtains.
The wedding world has somewhat taken the retro VW Campervan into its heart as it can transport up to five passengers in a rather trendy style, so no fancy limos for this happy couple just a fun way to travel in very nostalgic transport.
In traditional Cream and White coachwork this VW lends itself to any wedding colour theme and of course any ribbon colour to match. Entry into the main cabin is through a sliding door in the centre and up into a spacious cabin with a rather fancy decking planked floor similar to that found on sailing yachts.
Four passengers can travel in the main cabin with a fifth sitting up front next to the chauffeur however being all open plan the five passengers are together.
This vehicle has a Photopod, as shown on some of the photos, which can be hired for an extra fee. starting from £295 depending on requirements. The Photopod setup include feature backdrop with light up signs, light cubes, retro signage, mats, bunting, fairy lights, balloons and sweet bucket. Weather canopy when required and a large section of novelty props including hats, glasses, feather boas, frames, musical instruments and signs.
