1. What Cookies Are
A cookie is a small file of letters and numbers that our website stores on your device when you visit. Cookies let us recognise your device and remember information about your visit, such as your preferences and previous actions on the site. This policy also covers similar technology, such as pixels and information stored in your browser's local storage.
2. Your Consent
When you first visit our site, we ask you to choose which categories of cookies you're happy for us to use. Essential cookies are always on, because the site can't work without them. Every other category is switched off until you actively accept it, and "Reject all" is as easy as "Accept all".
You can change your choices at any time using the Cookie settings link in our website footer. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings; see section 8.
3. Essential Cookies
These cookies are required for the site to work. They let you use our quote system, make a booking, use our online payment system, stay logged in if you choose "remember me" when signing in, and remember the cookie choices you've made so we don't ask again on every visit. We don't need your consent to use these, and you can't switch them off in our cookie settings, but you can still block them through your browser if you choose to. If you do, parts of the site may stop working.
4. Analytical Cookies
These cookies let us count visitors and see how people move around our site. This helps us understand what's working and improve the site, for example by seeing whether visitors are finding what they're looking for easily. We use two tools:
- Google Analytics, which counts visits and shows which pages are used.
- Microsoft Clarity, which records how visitors use our pages (clicks, scrolling and mouse movement) as anonymous heatmaps and session replays. Clarity hides what you type into forms, so it doesn't capture your name, contact or payment details.
We use these only if you accept them.
5. Functional Cookies and Embedded Content
Functional cookies remember small choices that make the site more useful, such as showing you the telephone number for your region. Some features on our pages also come from other companies: maps showing where vehicles are based (HERE Maps), videos (YouTube and Vimeo), and other Google content. When these load, the company providing them can see your IP address and may set its own cookies. HERE Maps doesn't set cookies, but does receive your IP address to show the map.
We use these only if you accept them. If you haven't accepted them, they don't load at all. You can change your choice at any time through the Cookie settings link in our footer.
6. Marketing Cookies
These record your visit to our site, including the pages you've visited and the links you've followed, and may track your device across other websites too. We and our advertising partners (Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising and Meta) use this to make our marketing more relevant to you and to measure whether our adverts work. We use these only if you accept them.
Information shared this way identifies your device or browser, not your name.
7. Cookies We Use
This table lists the cookies found on our site in a technical check on 27 October 2026. Cookies marked † are only set in some situations, for example when a particular advert, video or feature is used. If we add or remove a tool that sets cookies, we'll update this table.
