This Volkswagen Camper that took over from the 60's era splitscreen camper was named the 'Bay Window' camper due to its single very wide front windscreen. This bay window camper was built in 1972 the same year as Al Green's song 'Let's Stay Together' was released, very apt considering the VW is for wedding transport.
With coachwork in Cream one of the most traditional wedding colours and with a light tan interior and a wide sliding door and a step up for easy entry and exit, it should tick all the boxes. 'Peggy', as the VW is affectionately known is spacious for the Happy Couple if travelling alone, or able to seat the Bride and Bridesmaids or Groom and Groomsmen if travelling together. Although the seating capacity is five, it is capable of carrying up to six if some are smaller children.
