About this vehicle:
The Triumph Roadster was the first vehicle made post-war by the Standard Motor Company after their acquisition of Triumph. Being manufactured in 1949 means ours, affectionately named ‘Charlotte’ was one of the last ones made. It’s design went back to the classic tourers of the 30’s, even to the extent of featuring the ‘dickey-seats’, whereby 2 extra passengers could sit on seats in the boot! On this car these unique seats even had their own windscreen.
This particular Triumph Roadster became very famous as the transport for actor John Nettles in the Jersey based television detective series ‘Bergerac’ and was featured in our Blog News “Famous Film and TV Vehicles for Wedding Hire” for its appearance on the Big Screen
As the roadster is a convertible it is only possible for her to operate during warmer times of the year. Of course we all hope for good weather on your big day, but just in case, we always reserve a Jaguar XJ whenever ‘Charlotte’ is booked out. This gives the option to swap right up until the last minute.

Absolutely amazing from first contact to saying goodbye. Communication through WhatsApp was good and nothing was too much hassle. We requested a play list to be played to our wedding and to the after venue and was no problem. Harry arrived at our home early which was nice to show off the wedding car before setting off. The car itself "WOW" there is no more explanation needed. We asked for gold ribbon which was the perfect colour match. He was the perfect chauffeur and didn't rush us and let us take our time. We were even surprised to find a small gift from Harry when we got back into the gorgeous car when heading to the after venue. A massive thank you for making our day that little bit more special.
