Produced in very small numbers from 1952 until 1954 the Bentley ‘R’ type is rarely seen in the UK. Superseding the Mark VI Bentley most of the cars produced were for the USA market where it became more common. The graceful coachwork is finished in traditional Ivory with white wheel caps and whitewall tyres. The front of the car is particularly attractive and has plenty of gleaming chrome, the soft rounded Bentley grille is topped by a winged flying ‘B’ mascot. The luxurious interior is resplendent in Chestnut Connolly Leather, with deep pile lambs wool carpets. Adding the final luxury is the deep coloured and highly polished walnut woodwork which has a perfect gloss finish to the door tops, dashboard, picnic tables and rear illuminated vanity mirrors. This Classic Bentley can seat up to 4 passengers however we would suggest that if the bride is travelling and has chosen a fuller style wedding gown to reduce to 3 Adult passengers. A pretty car and proving to be a very popular wedding car in London for the discerning Bride & Groom.
