This Bentley Forty Special is in fact a sports car from the 1950’s era and is in the classiest colour for a race car of this type, British Racing Green. This is a very long bodied car that has been fully restored and is in excellent condition, it has two low half doors to enter and exit the rear cabin which is made easier by the side steps. Behind the two large chrome headlamps is the engine beneath a long bonnet cover secured by two leather overstraps and with the fuel tank being external is positioned at the rear of the car. Being a convertible it has a hood to protect from the weather but it does not have side window screens so is an open tourer style. The front windscreen does have a wind deflector each side of the main screen which can be folded out to help shield the rear passengers from excessive buffeting. Overall a good experience. the car was in great condition and clean and the driver very polite and courteous and arrived on time. Some communication issues however…. I did telephone days before to discuss a different pickup address which was a very short distance from the original and was told that this caused no issues at all.

This is a beautiful car. A surprise for the bride and her bridesmaids and they were thrilled. Communications with the chauffeur James were excellent. Neither could have been more helpful and accommodating. I am delighted with both the vericle and the service provided. I have not yet received the official wedding photos but will forward copies once I have them.
