This Armstrong-Siddeley Lancaster was built just after the end of world war II, and first took to the roads in 1947, so very different to the roads we have today. But the car is the epitome of classic motoring of the forties. It has coachwork in two tone green, a very dark green over British racing green. Nearly all cars in the forties had manual gears, but this one has a pre-select gearbox which is essentially like an automatic, which makes for a smoother drive compared to a manual of the same period. Armstrong-Siddeley were a luxury car maker of the era so if you wish to travel in a little 40’s nostalgia then this beauty should do the trick nicely.
