Prices start from around £325 for a vintage car, but it all depends on how long you require the vehicle for, the amount of mileage it needs to cover and the location of your wedding (Vintage London Wedding Car Hire vs. Kent). A genuine Vintage Car from the 1930's & 40's such as a Rolls-Royce, Pierce Arrow or Ford Model 'T' may have a slightly higher initial price, whereas a 1930's Vintage ‘Style’ car such as a Beauford, Imperial or Convertible Regent would be a little less as they are essentially modern vehicles built in a style to look vintage and are therefore not so costly to run.
It's very much a personal choice but there are a few things to consider. Older vehicles from the 1930's and 40's do not have modern ABS braking systems or lighting, so in the event of very icy road surfaces or snow or thick fog it may not be possible to drive a vintage vehicle safely to your wedding venue, let alone transport you safely. On very cold winter days the heater, if actually fitted, will rarely perform like today’s modern car heaters, your chauffeur will be aware of this and may offer a knee blanket if you need to keep a little warmer on longer journeys on your special day.
No - Vintage cars and/or Classic Cars were not fitted with air-conditioned. Modern Vehicles would be a better option should you need A/C.
