Majestic looking, this classic 1947 Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith touring limousine was originally a ceremonial car in Gibraltar, but it returned to this country in 1970 and underwent a full body off restoration and engine rebuild at the engineering department of Hertfordshire University. The car has been with the current owner over 25 years and who completely refurbished the whole interior and fitted whitewall tyres to add to the elegance of the car. The Coachwork is by H.J.Mulliner who provided rear hinged forward opening doors allowing graceful entry and exit from the car. With Ivory side panels and bonnet with a black roof this large and beautifully proportioned car has sweeping wings and an impressive array of chrome lights and the tall unmistakable Rolls-Royce column grille with the rare ‘kneeling’ Spirit of Ecstasy mascot sitting proudly on top. This luxury British motoring icon has immaculate Ivory leather seating piped in Ebony with stunning highly polished walnut woodwork. Simply beautiful.
