This Rolls-Royce 20/25 Limousine has its body built by Barker of London, the famous coachbuilder of the 1930's era. Vintage Rolls-Royce cars had the very best engines built by Rolls-Royce, but the coachwork was always carried out by the top coachbuilders of the time so put together and you have one of the finest motor cars available, both engine and body.
Originally owned by Sir William Waters Butler of the famed Mitchell & Butler Brewery it later went on to be owned by the Scottish Folk Singer Jimmie McGregor in the 1960's. The 20/25 had a full body restoration in 1985 and had its new paintwork in Indian Ivory over Imperial Black with the interior retaining its lovely Westmorland beige cotton upholstery which compliments its wealth of Walnut wood throughout, with re-trimmed Black leather seating in the chauffeurs compartment.
While so many years after its restoration it is perhaps not as cosmetically perfect it still looks very smart from its mid 80's restoration. A very spacious Limousine for two passengers on the main rear seat but can be adapted to a five passenger Limousine by using the two drop down occasional seats in the main cabin and the seat next to the chauffeur in the front. A luxurious and popular style of wedding transport for those that wish to add a little nostalgia to their special day.
