Back in the early 1930’s, the era of Art Deco design, the Austin 10 Lichfield was first produced. This lovely little car was built in 1935 and is affectionately know as ‘Vera’. The Austin 10 was a larger family saloon but the ‘Lichfield’ Austin 10 was slightly different in that it had a protruding boot which enclosed the spare wheel. In those years many of the vehicles were Black, Green or Blue. ‘Vera’ has a deep gloss coachwork in Blue along with Black wings encompassing the running board on either side for easier entry and exit. Inside, the blue theme continues with ribbed blue leather seating and a wooden dashboard fascia. You will note all the doors open from the centre post of the vehicle allowing the full cabin to be visible when entering. For those that also require transport for their guests, in keeping with the vintage theme, we have a selection of single deck Vintage buses based in Kidderminster and also for those that have a larger number of guests a Classic London Red Routemaster double decker, see links below.
