One of the most widely recognised vehicles the world over, the AEC Routemaster is a timeless icon. It has as much London pedigree as Big Ben or The Houses of Parliament! This beautifully restored Routemaster wedding bus is available to hire for your special day.
The Routemaster remained in service across the capital for over 50 years. A total of 2,876 were built in various different specifications, but the most popular is the standard RM and the RML (Routemaster ‘long’). Regularly maintained and modernised over time, these high capacity vehicles are becoming one of the most popular means of travelling in classic style with open rear platform boarding, fit for purpose for any event. This bus can seat 40 passengers on the upper deck and 32 on the lower deck.
Drinks service in this Routemaster bus:
You may serve refreshments on board the bus, however, please be aware the only glass permitted on board the bus is Champagne or Prosecco bottles as they are reinforced. All drinks must be served in either plastic or paper glasses, any other refreshments must either be in tins/cans or decantated into plastic containers. If you would like us to dispose of any rubbish for you after the hire, we can, however we do charge a disposal fee of £30.00 per black bag.
