One of the most widely recognised vehicles the world over, the AEC Routemaster is a timeless icon, enriched with as much London pedigree as Big Ben or The Houses of Parliament.
The Routemaster bus remained in service across the capital for over 50 years. A total of 2,876 were built in various different specifications, but the most popular is the standard RM and the RML (Routemaster ‘long’). Regularly maintained and modernised over time, these high-capacity vehicles are becoming one of the most popular means of travelling in classic style with an open rear boarding platform, fit for purpose for any event.
This classic wedding bus is available to hire in Nottinghamshire and surrounding areas. It can seat up to 72 passengers using both lower and upper decks.
Food and drinks on board this bus:
Food and drink are welcome on this bus, as long as this is agreed in advance. We simply ask that you let us know what you plan to bring and when it will be loaded onto the bus.
Small beer bottles and cans are fine, as they are easy and safe to handle. For everyone’s safety, bottles must not be opened or popped on the bus. If you would like to enjoy bubbly, this can be opened off the bus and served in plastic cups before boarding. Those drinks can then be brought on board if needed.
Please note that all drinks must be in plastic, cans, or cartons. At the end of the journey, we kindly ask that all rubbish is collected and removed.
In the unlikely event of sickness or spillages that require professional cleaning, a valet charge of £150 will apply.
We take great pride in our vintage vehicles and ask that you and your guests treat them with care throughout your journey.
