Check passenger numbers before you book
Most classic cars seat three passengers in the rear. In practice, two is often more comfortable if the bride is wearing a full dress with volume. The fabric takes up more space than you'd expect, and nobody wants to arrive creased.
The same logic applies to larger vehicles. A classic limousine might be listed as seating seven, but if the bride needs the middle third of the back seat for her dress, you're really working with six. Factor that in when you decide how many vehicles you need.
Build size matters too. A groomsman party built like a rugby front row will fill a car differently to the seating plan on paper. Leather seats are unforgiving and classic cars were built in an era when people were, on average, considerably smaller.
