This MKIII Cortina 2000E executive is finished in Ford’s stunning Purple Velvet coachwork, it has a very stylish, retro coke bottle styling with hips and curvatious lines, being the 2000E model it is powered by a powerful 2.0 litre engine and the E stands for the executive top of the range model.
With wooden dash board and wooden door cappings, cloud coloured cloth interior and deep pile carpets if you owned a 2000E in the 1970’s you had really made it.
The Mk3 Cortina featured in many TV programmes such as The Professionals, The Sweeney, Minder and Life on Mars to name but a few.
