This stunning Austin Princess Limousine is the 'Vanden Plas' version, the top specification for the Princess. The Princess is one of the largest Classic Cars able to carry up to seven passengers with up to three on the main forward facing seat and a further three on the drop down occasional seats, a further passenger can be seated in the front next to the chauffeur. When just the happy couple are travelling and the occasional seats are stowed away the main cabin provides an enormous amount of space for even the fullest of wedding gowns.
The main cabin and chauffeurs cabin has a glass division screen between the two so the happy couple can travel in more privacy, however when a seventh pasenger is travelling in the front next to the chauffeur the glass screen can be left open for easy conversation between passengers in both cabins.
The Austin Princess is from an era when Carnaby Street in London was the trendy place to shop and The Beatles were at number one in the charts, there's even a song about the colour of this car 'Ebony and Ivory', the 1960's was a fabulous year and the Austin Princess epitomises the luxury travel of the time.
