We are very please to share a few lines and photographs about the real seaside wedding story of Nikki and Sven.
Sven proposed to Nikki at Old Harry Rocks on the Isle of Purbeck, the most easterly point of the Jurassic Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The rocks owe their name to the famous legend of Harry Paye, the infamous Poole pirate who stored his contraband nearby.
When Sven and Nikki had to look for a wedding venue there was no question as to where they would get married. They chose to marry at the Harry Warren House Wedding Venue in Dorset , a picturesque 19th century country house in Studland, Dorset with amazing views over Old Harry Rocks and The Needles on the Isle of White. Harry Warren House has had many film productions using their grounds for filming.
Nikki travelled in a beautiful Cream Volkswagen Camper, similar to this VW Campervan based in Swanage with her Dad and Bridesmaids to St. Nicholas Church in the village of Studland. After the ceremony Nikki and Sven departed for their wedding reception in our luxurious Ivory Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II.
To immortalise this special time in their lives, Lisa, a talented and creative Dorset wedding photographer, was there for their engagement shoot on Studland Beach and of course on the wedding day itself.
A special thank you to Lisa for letting us share the photographs of Sven & Nikki’s special day by the seaside. You can follow Lisa’s work at Lisa Dawn Photography . Lisa and her husband, Scott, specialise in Wedding Photography and Portrait Photography and are available for Wedding in Dorset, Somerset and London.
