This particular vehicle was the Rolls-Royce show car at The Earls Court Motor Show in 1953 where it was purchased by Geraldo, the famous orchestra leader of the time. It remained with the Geraldo family for some 42 years only to be sold when it had covered just 35,000 miles! The coachwork has been elegantly designed and finished by Hoopers who have been coachbuilders for our British Royal Family since 1945. The Ivory body with its sweeping black wings reach right to the rear of the car, this shape making the car particularly sleek and photogenic, especially with its whitewall tyres. The tall and instantly recognisable column radiator grille topped with a kneeling Spirit of Ecstasy mascot and large twin chrome headlights complete this classic vehicle. The wide rear hinged forward opening doors and inside step allows effortless access to the roomy interior which has light parchment leather with matching lamb’s wool deep pile carpeting and elegant highly polished walnut woodwork including a cocktail cabinet.
