This beautifully restored four door Austin Convertible is the ‘Open Road Tourer’ version. Being a convertible you have the choice of travelling styles. As with most cars from this period a running board was standard which provides for easy access into and out of the car, in addition the rear door is forward opening which some say allow you to exit more gracefully than conventionally opening doors. The two top photographs show the car first in full sun, and second in overcast and rainy conditions. A truly versatile automobile.
