Further Vehicle Information
The Daimler DS420 Landaulette can seat up to six passengers in the main cabin and one in the front cabin next to the chauffeur separated by a sliding glass privacy screen. It was mainly used for visiting Heads of State and Royalty as it provides a very spacious rear cabin for two passengers when the occassional seats are stowed away and can therefore accommodate the fullest of wedding gowns. The Royal Household still have these cars today. This Landaulete version allows passengers the option of travelling in a semi-convertible open top rear cabin. The interior photograph shows one of the occassional seats unfolded and ready for use, with the other stowed away.
