What forms of payment do you accept.

We accept payment by Cheque, Cash, Debit Card, Telephone Banking or Online Internet Banking [bacs]. We can also accept payment by means of equal monthly instalments, please see Q58 in the Q&A section of this website for further details. Deposits become due on booking, Balance payments can be made at any time but not later than 21 days prior to the wedding, which is the final date for us to receive payment.

[1] Cash:  If wishing to pay by cash we will give you our secondary bank account details so you may go into any convenient branch of 'Santander Bank' and pay this in over the counter.  We do not accept cash payments at our offices. Please remember to ask for a receipt from the bank's cashier as your record of payment. Cash payments are normally credited to our account the same day.

[2] Cheques:  These can be sent to our registered office made payable to 'Premier Carriage Co Ltd' but must be received not later than 21 days prior to the wedding date, cheques are not accepted as payment and will not be banked if received within 21 days of the wedding, therefore if you prefer to make payment by cheque we suggest this is mailed early and not left until near to the payment deadline to allow for possible postal delays, Premier Carriage is not responsible for late arriving cheques. We are more than happy to receive cheques early which can be postdated 21 days prior to the wedding if required, but please advise us beforehand if you wish to do this. We do not return late arriving non-banked cheques to the sender, cheques arriving or postdated after the 21 day deadline will be safely and securely destroyed by our cross shredder machine, if additional peace of mind is required the cheque should be cancelled via your bank, most banks do not charge for this. When making payment by cheque please write your booking reference number and wedding date on the back. Our registered office address is shown in the 'Contact' section of this website.

[3] Debit Card:   To pay by debit card our main bank account details are shown on the top of the reservation form. You will then be able to go into any convenient branch of 'your own bank' and make payment by Debit Card over the counter. This can take from one to four working days to show as credited in our account from the day you action payment.  We do not accept debit card payments at our offices or over the telephone. Please remember to ask for a receipt as your record of payment.

[4] Bank Transfer:  Telephone Banking or Online Internet Banking [bacs] is the simplest form of payment. Our main business account details for Santander Bank are shown on the top of the reservation form so you can then transfer payment from your bank directly to ours.  This can take from one to four working days to show as credited in our account from the day you action payment. If making your final balance or interim payments by bank transfer you must always advise Premier Carriage before you make payment so we are aware of imminent receipt and able to identify your payment from others of the same amount.

In all cases we must be in receipt of cleared funds for the outstanding balance not later than 21 days prior to the booked date to avoid an administration charge being added, thereafter if we are still not in receipt of the balance due plus the accrued administration charge 7 days prior to the wedding date we may treat the contract as cancelled.  Please see our Terms & Conditions of Hire regarding cancellation.
