Could you arrive back later in the evening and drive the Bride & Groom from the reception venue to the place where they will be staying overnight.

We may be able to in some vehicles subject to the area of your collection and destination, however all of the Classic and Vintage cars would not be available for the late night collection of passengers due to insurance reasons, not forgetting your own safety as most of the Vintage and Classic vehicles lighting would not be suitable for today’s modern road conditions during darkness especially in country roads and on fast motorways, however some of our more modern cars would be able to do this.  We must advise that the evening trip would come under a 'Private Hire' arrangement and not 'Wedding Hire' as far as the vehicle insurance companies are concerned so we need to use cars that have private hire insurance in addition to wedding hire insurance to satisfy both UK private hire legislation and vehicle insurance companies, this being the case only a few modern cars will be available for evening collections and as such we may not be able to provide an evening collection in every area as we are primarily a Wedding Hire company and not a Private Hire company.  For reasons of safety and visibility the car would not be in wedding ribbons during darkness hours as not only would the police be concerned, but your own safety remains our No.1 priority. 

The evening collection would be at an additional charge and would not be included in the prices already shown on the website for daytime itineraries, a separate quote would be given on request and this will be based on the actual time of the hire and the mileage involved as everything depends on total mileage, base to base. The evening collection prices would normally reflect the time of collection so bear in mind the later you wish to be collected in the evening the higher the cost will become and if collection is in the early hours of the next day then costs would become considerably higher to account for the unsocial hours, as you will appreciate Premier Carriage is a daytime wedding hire company not a 24 hour private hire company but we will help if we can within the limitations of insurance policies and local authority licences.

Although we do not like suggesting this, sometimes it is worth considering booking a regular taxi or mini cab from a local firm for the evening collection as not only will costs be very much lower but in our experience not many passengers remember their late night drive to the hotel due to the earlier 'festivities' of the day !  so perhaps this is one area where costs could be kept down as we know all too well the high cost of weddings today.  However if a luxury car is the required mode of transport and we are unable to help you ourselves then if you look up 'Executive Car Hire' in the Yellow Pages or search online at Google this will direct you to those Executive Hire companies with modern cars that should have the appropriate insurance for evening private hire work.
