After we advise you we would like to book a vehicle, how long do you hold it for us.

After being advised you wish to make a booking Premier Carriage like most companies will hold the vehicle/s in your name for a reasonable period while awaiting receipt of your completed reservation form and the securing reservation deposit. As the reservation form advises us of when and how you will be making your deposit payment this must be completed on line within 48 hours of booking, also as we sometimes receive spurious reservations this re-assures us that you are more likely in your intentions to proceed with the booking. Your deposit must then reach us within 10 days of making your reservation after which time your booking will automatically expire and the vehicle/s will be released for other waiting clients.  Although we allow a reasonable period for securing deposits to arrive they become due on the day you book, not 10 days after.

If mailing your deposit we strongly recommend you do not rely on the normal 1st and 2nd class mail delivery times as these have proven to be unreliable in the past, we therefore suggest your deposit is posted or transferred as soon as you have booked and not left until near to the expiry deadline to avoid losing your chosen car/s.  If your reservation form and deposit have been sent but you have not received confirmation by Premier Carriage via email by the advised expiry date we suggest you contact us to check receipt to avoid your vehicle/s being released as deposits received after the 10 day holding period will not guarantee the vehicle/s will have been held for you.  Before contacting us we kindly ask you to check your email spam folder as sometimes the logo on our confirmation may divert it there if your email security settings are very high - thank you.

We must also respectfully advise if a payment cheque is returned unpaid by the clients bank for whatever reason the reservation will be deemed as cancelled and the car/s reserved will become available for other clients, should you subsequently wish to re-instate the booking a £15 administration charge will be payable which means the deposit due will increase by £15.  Please also ensure cheques are written correctly as those received by us that are unsigned or have other errors meaning they are unable to be cashed will result in the reserved vehicle/s being released for other clients once the initial 10 day holding period expires.
