In addition to our main collection of luxurious Bentley and Rolls Royce wedding cars we have many other types of unique wedding transport, with many of these having been completely restored and refurbished both inside and out providing you with some of the highest quality pristine condition vehicles available for wedding hire in the UK.  All of the photographs in our portfolio are of the actual vehicles we have available for wedding hire and for film & televison work so they are the exact vehicles you will be hiring and of course you are welcome to view any vehicle by private appointment.

 

In 1996 ‘Premier Carriage’ was introduced to the south with just one Rolls-Royce, with the success of this car and being customer service focussed two more Rolls-Royce’s, a Bentley and a Jaguar were purchased and we then welcomed other independent classic car enthusiast friends and colleagues to join us providing their treasured, very rare and valuable wedding cars that would not otherwise be available anywhere else. By providing the highest standard of professionalism, outstanding service, a large choice of rare and quality vehicles at affordable prices and a strong belief the customer must always come first 'Premier Carriage' was established and is now undisputedly one of the UK's leading experienced professionals in our field, having succesfully completed well over 6,000 weddings.

As Managing Director of Premier Carriage and being no stranger to customer service I knew this was of paramount importance in a business, indeed since 1963 prior to forming the company a wealth of expertise and personal experience of the very highest service standards had been gained, having had regular and direct responsibility for the care and safety of the likes of senior Royalty, Presidents and Prime Ministers along with many major screen, stage and pop stars. When the 'Premier Carriage' company was formed those very high standards of service expected and delivered to the aristocracy and the famous were incorporated into the company as standard and so today, many years on, you are well placed to be treated like royalty yourself.  If you see our wedding cars around town be prepared, for you may recognize a passenger or two as some of those very famous faces are now our clients having carried many famous celebrities from the world of Entertainment, Sport, Fashion, Film & Television and not forgetting the Music world with no less than the king of pop himself, the late 'Michael Jackson'.  With respect to Michael, and out of our professional discretion we will not name other celebrities here however one thing you can be sure of is that every single one of our clients are 'Very Important Persons' to Premier Carriage and we will do our utmost to ensure your own wedding day is both perfect and memorable.  After the Bride & Groom the vehicles are the next stars of our business, and their Film & Television credits include Agatha Christies 'Poirot' and 'Marple', 'Foyles War', 'Heartbeat', 'EastEnders', 'Churchill: The Hollywood Years', BBC TV's Holiday Programme and many, many more.

Our professional and immaculately attired fully uniformed chauffeurs are dedicated to ensuring your arrival at the ceremony is in the graceful and relaxing manner that befits such an occasion. In attendance throughout they will offer you assistance when entering and leaving the car aspiring to provide you with the very highest standards of professionalism and personal VIP service, supporting those Brides, and Fathers, who may feel a little nervous on this special day, to skilfully knowing when to be discreet and unobtrusive. Above all else we are proud that our exemplary standards, superlative personal service and attention to detail have gained us an enviable and respected reputation that others continually strive to imitate.  Premier Carriage is most privileged to have been asked to provide services at all manner of ceremony venues, including three weddings at a famous stately home for the marriage of the nobility including a Countess, the cousin of The 6th Earl of Normanton, and the wedding of The Earl of Normanton's eldest daughter Lady Portia which was filmed and shown in the BBC 2 television series 'Country House'.  We were again privileged to have been asked to provide services for the wedding in 2008 of The Earl's 2nd daughter, Lady Marisa.   We retain impeccable references and complimentary letters from our former Brides & Grooms, their parents and well known personalities, and on our ‘References’ page you can view a selection of these.

 

For the journey from the ceremony venue to the reception your Chauffeur will assume the role of your Personal Butler and serve chilled French Champagne to the Bride and Groom in elegant fine flute glasses should they wish this additional service. The chilled Champagne Service can be requested when completing your reservation form.

 

Not withstanding our large collection of luxurious chauffeur driven Rolls-Royce and Bentley wedding cars we also have one of the largest choices of other types of wedding transport for example, Horse Drawn Carriages, Vintage Taxis, Vintage and Classic Coaches, American Cars, Taxis and Limousines, London Red Buses, Sports Cars and Motorbikes for the Groom and many other forms of unique wedding transport, in fact every kind imaginable. So whether you are looking for Classic Cars, Veteran Vehicles, Vintage Cars or Modern Cars, or indeed any other style of unique wedding transport, if it has wheels or legs the chances are you will probably find it here !

 

For a variety of reasons a limit needs to be set as to the distance some vehicles will travel from their base to reach a wedding area, therefore on each vehicle's page the maximum mileage from base that particular vehicle will travel to will be shown. The maximum mileage limit for some of our superior veteran and vintage vehicles are very generous and subject to the wedding cars chosen they can be transported anywhere throughout our southern region, however where possible we would always recommend you choose vehicles based nearest to your wedding area to help keep your costs lower. As mentioned above, in addition to wedding engagements we also provide our wedding cars for films and television productions and many of our more famous vehicles you may well recognize.

 

We pride ourselves on being a professional team of enthusiast owners and will always be ready to offer advice about the services we can provide should it be needed, we will of course be happy to cater for any special requirements you may desire.  We recommend you take a little time to read the Q&A section of this website which not only has the answers to many questions regularly asked but also contains a great deal of information from our many years of experience that you may find helpful, however please do not hesitate to let us know if you have other questions you would like answered.

 

All of the vehicles on this website have reference numbers for easier recognition, however those shown in the 'Horse Drawn' and 'Coach and Bus' sections [apart from Mini Coaches & MPV's] are not handled directly by Premier Carriage and for these more specialised forms of transport we have arranged for you to be able to contact our enthusiast owners direct and a contact link is provided on each Horse & Carriage and Coach & Bus page. All other vehicles on this website are handled directly by Premier Carriage.

 

Premier Carriage provides a personalised co-ordinating service which means you will only need to deal with one person throughout. We will arrange the booking of the cars and viewing appointments if required, receive deposits and final balances at our own office, pay the owners for you, send you written confirmation, offer advice with ribbon colours and timings and provide a fully detailed itinerary to the vehicle owners so they can liase together to provide a seamless service, leaving you free to concentrate on other matters. A week or so before your wedding we will contact you and send your final itinerary for you to check so that if required we can make any last minute changes, for additional peace of mind we will also give you the mobile number of the chauffeur and/or owner of your wedding car/s so if needed you can make direct contact on the wedding day. On the evening before your wedding with our duty now completed we hand over the reigns to the vehicle owner and chauffeur who will be carrying out your wedding day travel.

 

Price Guarantee - The wedding cars and chauffeur services shown on this website are priced sensibly and amongst the most competitive in our industry, however in the unlikely event you find the exact same car type and model at a lower price elsewhere, let us know before you book and we will do our very best to see if we can match or beat that price.
